I’ve tried many shades of blonde, light brown, taupe to go with my blonde highlighted hair with dark blonde roots. This shade of taupe is the perfect shade for dark blond ish light brown ish with no undertone of reddish gold color or too light for my eyebrows. I have been using taupe or the universal shade from It Cosmetics. That works but I think I like this Taupe better.

I use soft brown stencil but needed a darker pencil as the soft brown pencil was too light. The dark brown is perfect for touch up and fill in!

Because the pencil color is a neutral brown mauve, it just darkens the brown area to blend it into whatever is around, it doesn't look caked on, or too dark!
